Let's see....
Hmmmmm, I'm trying to remember what happened....weeks go by like blurs...it's hard to remember unless I type it in my LJ. Anywho...Thursday, was gym day for Jason and his first partial week of pre-school was finished. I went to Gymboree with my cousin and our kids, then, on Friday and Saturday, was the usual stuff. I caught up on a few more shows. Oh, Jason caught something and was showing signs of being snuffly around Friday. Oh, and I almost forgot...Friday,
rachelsibio and
lschicky's mom just HAD to roast a turkey on Friday, so it ended up dumping about 8" on Friday around the area. On Friday, we went to Texas de Brazil then, went to Sears to buy some clothes for Emily and Jason. I got Jason some nice Carter's t-shirts and a bunch of white tube socks. I got Emily like six sleepers(3 terry cloth and 3 smooth cotton) and about six short-sleeved onesies. I also got her 2 pairs of "lounge pants" and six pairs of socks. :)
Sunday, we hosted a MAPS organizing meeting. It went well. I ordered some pizzas from Papa Saverios and whatever was leftover we had people take home with them. We had a Pepperoni Pizza, a Pepperoni-Mushroom Pizza, a Pepperoni-Sausage-Green Pepper Pizza, and a Hawaiian Pizza (Canadian Ham and Pineapple). All was good...I had never had a Hawaiian Pizza before, so, it was quite interesting to say the least.
This was the first day of Jason's FULL week of pre-school. He's really adjusting well to pre-school. Getting on the bus(though he sometimes unbuckles his belt in the school bus. He got a goodie bag full of party goodies which consisted of plastic jacks and a bouncing ball, a Spongebob "wee-pop"(lollypop-Green Apple Flavor), and some stickers. He brought home some stuff he had done. Put some painted handprints onto a cut-out of the #2....and a little book too. He apparently painted some pieces of toast with milk and food coloring. His teacher asked if it would be okay, and we said it'd be fine.
Emily is pulling up like a champ nowadays....she wants to pull up on everything. Just a matter of time before she cruises everywhere. :) Still no upper teeth yet...but I suspect they'll be coming in soon. She is also feeding herself quite well, but I need to give her more variety in her meals soon. Maybe I will try a meat meal soon. I weighed her recently on the bathroom scale and she was 17 1/2lbs approximately. I dunno how long she is, but she has an appointment on February 13th. We'll see then. Oh, btw, she is also sick...got sick probably a few days after Jason did. And
oldcrow is also sick. Hopefully this cold will pass. I seem to have this incessantly annoying cough. No real congestion, just been popping cough drops and drinking a lot of water.
This weekend is gonna be busy. On Saturday, I will be getting my hair cut again and recolored. I asked
oldcrow if he would be freaked out if I got pink hair....I don't think I got an straight answer. :) Anyway....gonna have some lunch with my cousin as well when we get our hair done. THEN, on Sunday, is my FIRST Traditional English Tea Party. I ponder getting an outfit or just wearing my usual. I guess I can dig around and see if I have something dressy. :) I'm co-hosting this tea party with
rachelsibio and
lschicky. I Only have about 6-7 people coming, but seeing as it is Chinese New Year this weekend...that's why the low turnout. If this turns out well, I will do a Afternoon Tea for my female relatives. :)
Not sure what we'll be doing tonight, probably go visit Bed, Bath and Beyond and see if they have any tea infuser/strainers available as well as shop around for Clotted Cream/Double Devon Cream. :) Lots of things to do! :)
Busy busy busy!
