Hurricane IKE
We are alive and well!!! We have our electric, phone and internet back but not all are so lucky.
It has been a little over a week since hurricane IKE came to our section of this earth and many of us still have no power, there are still lines for groceries and gas, and we have a curfew. Sounds like all bad news, and for some of us it is. BUT, there are so many blessings and good things happening as well. I’m so grateful for the cooler weather and a nice breeze for those that have no air conditioning. I’m also aware that strangers are performing random acts of kindness and neighbors are pitching in to help however they can for those that are ill or elderly.
I am so GRATFUL that I have love and joy in my life no matter what is going on around me. Please send good wishes and positive ~vibes~ to those who still need help.
