Reflection
I had a big 50th birthday bash :) My sister and childhood friend from Michigan came to help me celebrate. We all had a really good time. I even cleaned the bathroom EXTRA special (just in case we had too much to drink) but none of us pushed it too far.
I had a really hard time from the day I received my AARP card....for some strange reason when I saw my name on that piece of mail along with the words AARP

I totally freaked out. It built up and BUILT up until the big day finally arrived and then I said to myself (SELF)..... get on with it GF, it's just another day in your wonderful life. Enjoy it and look forward to more of the same. I seem to have convinced myself it's ok now because the funny feelings that life was over as I knew it were gone and I have moved into the next day and then the next. Life is really no different then it was a month ago when I was 49.
Life is amazing and I'm loving ALMOST every minute of it.
