The Quest for Prince Charming Reprised
The previously mentioned difficulty with casting Prince Charming in Happily Ever After...? called to mind another issue. Simply put - the lack of Prince Charmings in Church.
Like the Frog Prince in The Frog Prince Retold, Christian men often seem to think that their wives should serve them hand and foot, and be the proverbial Proverbs 31 woman. (Oh 'wife of noble character', the bane of Christian women everywhere!) But it's Biblical, innit?
Too often, this is what happens:
We kiss frog after frog, and none of them turn into princes.
