Off-Topic: New Job
Yesterday I had my first 8-hour workday since 2007. Actually 8 hours and 45 minutes. And except for the lunch break I was standing the whole time, which I haven't done since...I think since I was a teenager.
I'm not a teenager anymore.
My feet hurt so much....
But yay, I have a job again! Soon I will stop being broke. And it's at the Columbus Zoo, which is an awesome place to visit, and I get to visit there every day now. I walk past flamingos and penguins on my way to work, how cool is that?
Ironically, I had just finally succeeded in getting food stamps.
I need to call my caseworker within 10 days to let them know my financial sitch has changed. Maybe I'll have the energy for it tonight.
To any of the players in my PBP Dark Heresy game who happens to follow the link in my sig, I apologize for my absence yesterday. I didn't have time to visit RPG.net before work, and I didn't have the energy afterward. I will try to get caught up tonight. Same for the PBP games I'm a player in.
