Paint Comparison
After painting swatches of both on a bottle cap and comparing them side to side, I've come to the conclusion that Citadel Boltgun Metal and Tamiya XF-56 Metallic Grey are pretty much the same color.
This doesn't mean they're completely identical. The Tamiya paint is slightly thinner and makes, I think, a better base coat, while the thicker Citadel paint is better for detailing. But in a pinch they can be used interchangeably.
