new email update!
"Bonjourno again everyone. We've been getting a tonne of emails on our myspace as of late regarding a plethora of subjects so we thought we would send out an email containing as much info as we can to answer all of your questions.
"Cross my Heart" is now available on itunes for all those who wish to download the song. Legal downloads are always appreciated cause it truly does keep music alive. Thank you all who use itunes!!!
On our myspace page you will find an MTTV banner and a youtube link to our youtube page. We will be posting a tonne of behind the scenes videos of the making of our new album and the new video so please keep checking back there. Matt did most of the filming and that sneaky guy got a lot of footage when we weren't looking so their will be some funny stuff coming your way!
The new album is going to be called "Masterpiece Theatre". We are trying to get it out as soon as we can but we still don't have a release date from Universal records. You can actually help us out in this area. We figure we can prevent any further delay of the album if we can get "Cross my Heart" ! to explode on Radio and MUCH. The requests truly do help! to spee d the process along so for all those who want to hear the song, you can request it on your local radio station and on MUCH. The Radio requests are amazing so thank you to all who sent us the radio links. We have posted them all as well as the MUCH links at www.myspace.com/marianastrench
We truly want to get back out on the road as soon as we can but our label wants our tour to line up with the release of "Masterpiece Theatre". We hope to hit absolutely everywhere this time around and requests to your local station will help us to get there. Hopefully if we can get enough requests over the holidays we will be able to get out on the road in early 2009. We did get to play alot of small towns last time around and ! that was thanks to the strong persistance of many of our fans. Thank you to all who help us to get to you!
We are very proud of the album that is about to come out as it is a huge step above our first release "Fix me". We want you all to know that we all feel truly blessed to have you as fans. There is no way we would be where we are today if it wasn't for all of you. Marianas Trench fans truly are the craziest, nuttiest (hazelnut and walnut mostly, but still some peanut) and best fans around. We cannot thank you enough. YOU ALL FREAKIN RULE!!!
We wish you all an extremely Merry Christmas (don't over-spike the Eggnogg) and Happy New Year! Hopefully we will get to see you all very soon!
