coffee? Orange Juice?
So already, this morning has been fabulous. Jess and I wanted to go to Urban this weekend, but we both had "lunch appointments" today and so we were forced to go in the morning. We thought we'd take the commuter rail which left at 8:30 am, we ended up taking the T, but we still left at 8:30am- how strange. But we took the T to newbury st and walked up and down looking for a breakfast spot. We decided it would be nice to eat at the Fairmount (sp?) so we did. We prentended that our dads owned the place, like they were some big realty tycoons or something and it was SO FANCY hahaha, it was amazing. We went into the breakfast room - after using the B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L bathrooms and the dude comes over to the table with a pot of coffee and orange juice and asks ever so politely if i would like some and I did. So he poured the coffee into the china cup and the oj into the wine glass (later we figured it cost me 10 bucks). and we ordered eggs benedict with salmon, it was SOOOOOOOO AMAZING and so good and ahhhh it was awesome. And we got toast and hashbrowns and they triend replacing the ketchup with mini tomatos - which really didn't cut it, but they were cute. Jess stole honey in a pretty little glass jar. And then - the best part-: so, after paying our 31 dollar bill, we went upstairs and walked around and pretended like we were in the prez. suite and we stole SO many little shampoos and I got a martini mixer and a CHAMPAGNE glass which was outside someones room waiting to be picked up and we both got privacy please signs, which are oh so pretty. it was SO much fun and we've decided we'll do it much more often, we'll start a collection. Hotels we have to hit: Marriot, lenox, Westin, ritz, and four seasons. Any more? hmmm... i'm so excited, it was so great.
We finally did end up at urban and jess bought a lot of stuff and i bought a shirt. Oh, we also stole like 50 free samples of red gum- i'm such a clepto. and now: lunch with lisa, play date with gabby, and dinner with rosa- i love busy days :)
