I was about to write that today was a nice day, when I remembered that now it's Monday and I'm talking about Sunday. So yeah, Saturday night/Sunday morning, I was out until 5 and it was quite a good time...
Then I woke up at 9:45, which was probably the least nice part of the day. Then I went to field hockey, where, being quite tired, I didn't play well at all, but I did have fun and I scored a couple of times. I missed both practices this week because of IMs, so it was good to get on the turf again. I got back and took a really nice long shower, which felt soooooo good.
Then I ate yummy food at Cosi!!!!! I adore that place. Wasabi roast beef sandwich=love. And even though I have had such ADD all weekend, I got a decent amount of reading done. Then I went back to my room and took an amazingly refreshing 1/2 hour nap and woke up just in time for my Herald meeting.
I went back to my room and read/watched the Pats, then ate dinner with Shana and loads of other fun awesome people. It was good to catch up with Shana since she's been with her parents all weekend. Then I got back and did laundry/watched the 4th quarter of the Pats game. Soooooo exciting but very stressful...
Then I went to Ali's room to say happy birthday and ended up having a really nice conversation that ranged from boys to religion. I realize that I haven't really thought much about religion lately, and I guess I should. Although in some ways there isn't much to think about for me. I don't know. It's just nice to talk to someone who has very different thoughts about some things and feel like I understand her and also to have it all be very respectful.
After that, I went and watched Desperate Housewives, which is an awesome show, with Lindsay, Nisha, and co. I like that suite...I should hang out there more. Then Donnie called me, and even though we talked about a lot of relatively depressing stuff (the Cohn/Tesiero family has seen better days) it was just so nice to hear from him. I don't talk to him nearly enough.
I went outside after that and tried to get work done but I was distracted by a watermelon drop and by Chris and lots of other people coming by and saying hi.
I guess what I'm really getting at with this entry is that today I realized how many awesome people I know and how there's just too much to do, but in a good way. I felt happy and loved in a way that I hadn't for the first part of my time here. So that just put me in a good mood.
