(no subject)
Camp is over! We're having a celebratory dinner at 5, so I've got time to kill until then. Dad should be here to get me at 6. Can't wait for air conditioning and real beds and no more campers! Although in some ways the Vineyard is like being a camp counselor because in the afternoon we end up entertaining the midgets and the billions of small children next door. I think I'll teach them whaa (see Christina, you have been an inspiration). Trust me, it's an awesome game.
That said, there were some really cool campers that I'm gonna miss. And I need to get in touch with some of the girls from first session who only gave me SNs (I haven't been able to get on AIM here).
I'm very tired. I was up until 1 last night because the campers stay up on the last night of camp but I can't go to bed until my campers are in bed. I let them all sleep in one room and just left them because I was so tired at that point that I no longer cared. I did, however, have an awesome game of catch with a glow-in-the-dark football, which is officially the coolest thing ever. I should get one for school.
I'm rich! That is, as soon as I create a checking account and deposit my checks. But that's a minor detail. These were my first paychecks (sad, I know) and I'm so proud.
