A cry for help
Yes, I'm joining the rally calling for help for Haiti. It's been 5 days since the eathquake. I whish I've done this before but electricity is not exactly efficient here nowdays either (¬¬). Haiti is the poorest country in this side of the world, and to top that nature hits them with all its force. Talking about anti-fortuna. The capital was completely destroyed. The aftershots are little earthquakes themselves (one reached 5.9, just minutes after the 7.0 has hitten). Thuesday ended up very depressing for me last week just looking at the first images. So to my flist, please help. No matter if it's just 1 euro or dollar. You can log on your local Red Cross sites and there'll probably be a bank account for Haiti there. You can also locate any center of support (I don't know if that's how it's called on english) and send cans of food (even if you send two cans of tuna, that would be two people having something to eat), water, medicine, diapers, even sanitary towels for PMS, clothes. That people lost everything (from the little they already had).
What hurts the most it's actually to think that there are kids who have no parents left, mothers or fathers left out childless, entire families gone... when I think of all this I realize my problems are nothing.
