I just saw Kingdom of Heaven (no spoilers)
KOH opened in Australia today, and I had to go on the first day. I even missed Lost (my video recorder has broken) to see it.
There were people in the audience who didn't like it, and I wasn't one of them. I had read the less than excited reviews, so I wasn't expecting to be blown away. But I really enjoyed seeing Orlando star in a movie.
I must say that I was a bit annoyed that the trailers were so misleading in parts... you will see what I mean... but Orlando - well, he's doing a decent job. He's still got a long way to go as an actor, but he is getting there - and he looks lovely. I could easily watch it again.
What can I say? It's better than Troy, but I would have expected more from a Ridley Scott movie.
