Mardi Gras Queer Film Festival
I am exhausted, and my feet hurt, but yesterday - the opening night of the Mardi Gras Film festival in Sydney - went very well - or if things went wrong, I was too busy to see them.
This year, instead of volunteering, I am one of the two front of house managers. Yesterday I got on the train at 8 in the morning, worked on the train on my laptop (1 and a half hours), then at the office from 10 until 5, then at the theatre from 5.30 until 12.15. It was a long day. I'm glad I stayed at my son's house in Sydney last night.
The films this year look like being very good, and if I see any particularly lovely ones, I will let you know and you can look for them at a GLBT festival near you.
