I met my Tony!!!
Aw, he's a sweetheart. Kind of quiet and shy but more like the strong silent type. I think he'll really balance out the crazy diva in Tina. Not really hot - although he's got weird hair and facial hair for a show he's in right now. So we'll see. But he's attractive enough. It'll be fine. Not gay though.
The hot gay guy (that I was hoping for) turns out to be my brother. He's such a cutie! Apparently the character of Tina's brother really is gay in the show (but Mom doesn't know it). And he choreographs a dance number for me and my bridesmaids to Bye Bye Bye, by N'Sync. teeheehee! I love it! Everyone else was pretty cool. The older people were kind of loud and overbaring, but I think they'll be fun to interact with during the show. And they were all very nice. And several of the young people were really cool. Seems like all of us just moved here in the last nine months. werd.
I am SO EXCITED!!!
So now it really and truly is official: the play is definitely ON and I am definitely playing Tina. OMG!!!!!!!!
Apparently the director is the original director, of the original NY show. omg.
And the best part: the reception is going to be held in the big SF Aquarium at Pier 39. How freaking weird/hilarious is that! Partying with the fishes!
So, if any of you all want to come and see the show - I'd LOVE IT! I think it'll be so fun - frrreveryone! And I get discounts for any family and friends.
