It's Sunday. I've got a bit of a cold. Felt it coming on the other night when Collin was here. I haven't been sick in I don't know how long, so at least I hope that's a good sign. So I slept a long time last night and then today, I called around and found a generous young fella to cover my shift. Thank Jesus! I think, more than anything, I just need a little time to chill out, to rest, and let my body and mind catch up a bit with everything.
Jana called at about 2. We had a nice, long conversation. It was very good to catch up. I can't wait to see her and others in New York. Loves 'em!
Then I walked to City Market and Trader Joe's. Stocked up on some nourishment and flirted a bit. Then back here and watch Grease: You're the One that I Want. I'm going to own my inner geek: I really enjoy that show! I've never been huge into American Idol. I like watching the songs but not the criticism - which just seems so staged and sensational. But this is a little more down to earth, and the just the musicalness of it - I love it! I love seeing the numbers performed and I love this one guy: Chad. He's so cute and accessible and engaging! But I think there's a very high possibility that he's gay - along with several of the other potential Dannys. But no worries: I'm still routing for him. Go Chad.
I made a couple of meals and did my dishes. Guess that's about it for the day, besides meditating and showering and checking email. I rented Xanadu. Might watch it. Goodnight.
