I remember being in your house once, I thought it was very cozy and it leaves a vivid impression. I'm so glad that I went to school in south Omaha instead of out west, it really opened my mind to an entirely different part of the world. I absolutely hate suburbia and never want a house newer than 50 years, I think. I always enjoy driving around whenever I get back in town. I hate air conditioning and love the noises and the feeling of a house that is open to the outside world, not sealed off. I hope desperately that I don't get sucked into the world of comfort as I progress down whatever career path I end up in. I'm student teaching in a very suburban place (the average house is at least 300,000 or more, I think) and it's frightening. There are great people of course, and good things going on, but I think there's a certain point where we surround ourselves with too much comfort and create necessities in our life that do not really nor should exist and we lose touch with a sense of identity and communication. Anyway, thanks for that
