I actually got to perform a few more duties listed in my job description. And it only took 3 months... We had to wait for some network things to be in place before we could fully handle alarms or we'd have some HUGE liability issues.
Anyway, I got to kick a few people out of a parking lot, call the cops on a guy who turned out to be a delivery driver, and follow a few suspicious people around. Nothing too awfully exciting, but that's okay for the first couple times.
Ben is supposed to come up tonight and stay for the weekend. I'm very, very excited. We haven't actually spoken to each other in about 2 weeks now because his phone completely died. We've been e-mailing back and forth, but I miss actually hearing his voice. Now I just need to figure out something fun and exciting to do on Saturday night besides my normal housekeeping or moping around.
