I didn't do a damn thing yesterday. I didn't even get dressed. Even on days when I don't drive my car, I usually step outside for something.
Then this morning I was scared half to death when I rolled over to look at my alarm clock. It said 12:39. Today was the first day of my calc class and it starts at 8:40 and I work at noon. It was actually 8:09 according to my cell phone. I will have to start setting the alarm on my cell again. I was 20 min late for class, and I got a parking ticket. I will definetly have to get up earlier to catch the bus.
The normal instructor is going to be gone this week, so her TA is teaching the class. I know that my handwriting is pretty bad, but his is absolutely horrible; the only reason I knew what was on the board was because he was reading it back as he wrote. He didn't hand out a syllabus, but read it to us. Homework is supposed to be posted on the instructor's website, but she hasn't built a link for the summer class. I was actually going to start my homework today before I went to work. Since I'm taking the bus, I'll be about 15 min early to class, so having homework to do would be good. I would take my laptop and work on my Soc. stuff, but its still being a butt about the screen showing anything unless it sat for a few hours between startups, then having to mess with it for 10-30 min.
My loans still haven't come through. They sent my app back to Omaha for more info. So I had to beg my mom to overnight it back. Yeah, I kind of have rent past due, and I can't defer my car payment again.
Our first electric bill came today. I was scared when I saw the envelope since we've had the air on since about the 3rd day we were here. I was remembering the OPPD bill that Jessica and I got because she felt the need to set the thermostat at 65 in the middle of 90 weather so she could wrap up in a blanket to watch TV. That bill was about $160. Ours is $26.19. I constantly have my laptop on (for the previously discussed reason), I ran the dishwasher a ridiculous amount to wash all my dishes when we moved in here, we've used the oven and stove quite a bit, and I was leaving the light above the sink on all night for my fishy. Maybe the next time I go home, I'll see what OPPD was charging per kilowatt hr compared to here.
Wow, I'm a dork. But I really am curious.
Now I need to go wash this mask thingy off my face.
bitching,
class,
really tired entries,
