Fanfics! Fanbits! Every Which Way!
God, I haven’t done one of these fic-rec posts in ages. So much to catch up on, so little time…
A few things I'm connected to, in one way or another:
kilraaj managed to make me both laugh and wince with this set of drabbles. She wrote horny!Larsa and creepy!Vayne and tragic!Vossler-and-Basch. And this is part of why I love her dearly. ;)
mad_rex insists that two of the three of these excellent drabbles are my fault. The blame is happily accepted in this case!
puella_nerdii inspired me completely with this Vayne & Penelo drabble based on the the quality of mercy. Just beware that the comments might, um, have some spoilers for Knots, Ties and Tides in the future. …Maybe.
sheffiesharpe never fails to charm me with her Larsa/Penelo drabbes. That woman, she is quality. ;)
threewalls was kind enough to dedicate Sixteen, Going On Seventeen to me. It‘s an intriguingly dark fic with a take on Larsa and Penelo’s relationship post-Bhujerba that I’ve never seen before. Beware (and be fascinated by!) pitch-black adult themes…
wodhaund intrigued me with this Lolita-inspired Reks/Penelo drabble. Bitty!Penelo is cruel. I like that entirely too much!
And then, of course, she proceeded to titillate me entirely with a take on Larsa and Penelo‘s fantasies on each other. Talk about steamy…
And finally, starla_blaise tickled me utterly with a lovely ream of fan-art links. Check it out, seriously!
And a few general fanfic recs:
tenshi_kain totally blew me away with Heads Together, which is seriously one of the best Larsa/Penelo fics I’ve read in ages and ages. It’s sweet, dreamy, wrenching and terribly tender by turns and features some amazing characterization and character details… as well as Penelo as the most seductive harem girl of them all! ♥ ♥ ♥
cleflink charmed me entirely with Moments, a deceptively simple fic that nonetheless captures just why Larsa would love Penelo utterly and completely. And I can’t not love any fic featuring Penelo being both clever and sweet!
And with luck, there shall be fic for threewalls coming up sometime this week. I hope! I think! I believe! ::crosses fingers just in case::
