Ashe is indeed one of the most awesome fighters in the entire game, though I admit to using Basch as my tank and main physical ass-kicker. She's pretty awesome as the paladin sort, though-- I just put on a mix of magical and heavy armor and watch her blaze a trail through any enemies I encounter. XD

I'm thrilled that you liked her worldliness! That was just what I was going for, since I really can't see how anyone was orphaned at 14 and more or less had to fend for themselves and their teenaged friend in a city occupied by a hostile empire could be all that naive or dreamy.

(Um, unless they're Vaan, I suppose. But he's... well, he's a special case, after all! ;)

I admire a mixture of strength and weakness in a person and I think there's some genuine steel beneath Penelo's girly exterior!

Oh dear, I didn't mean for that summary to be so deceptive. But I'm glad you enjoyed it (and giggled! &hearts) regardless.

And pyromaniac!Penelo might very well become the future terror of all of Ivalice! It'll be up to Larsa to distract her with his sexy future manliness other things.

I am glad you enjoyed it! &hearts I'm trying to build up a fortress of cute now because I'll be doing evil things with all of these characters-- especially poor Penelo-- later.
