Hello, longtime lurker here!
Yesterday I got bitten by the nostalgia bug and I can not seem to find this fic for the life of me now.
It was a fic called "Chance" (I think) it was a story where Heero and Duo had a second chance to be together after Duo had died by re-writing their past. Duo still dies in the end, but this time Heero has a past where he had a relationship with Duo. In the end Heero is watching a video tape of Duo when they were younger in a safe house dancing with a broom.
And that's all I can remember from it exactly. Does anyone know where this fic is? All I remember is that it was really good despite it being a deathfic and it made me cry for hours after.
