So today I have a day to myself. My family is in Texas for my uncle's wedding and I decided to come home since I've been in Davis all week going to various interviews.
On Thursday Greg read some parts of his stories to a small audience on campus. I absolutely love his stories, but they even sound better coming from him. I definitely am going to return to another grad school reading. I really enjoyed it.
I also am very happy to report that I have a job in Davis. A job that is literally less than a mile away from our apartment. I now, ahem, work for a legal and property management firm in Downtown Davis. Whoooowhoo. Thank you god. I am so grateful because I know how hard it is to find a job in today's economy. I just sort of lucked out. I'm really excited to learn a different aspect of law. It will also be great on my resume. WHOOP.
The apartment that Greg and I have is really cute. It's just enough space for the two of us and is close to everything. I was a little torn about the thought of returning to Davis AGAIN, but I finally realized that it's not the same Davis from before. We are starting new chapters in our lives, and Davis just seems to be the place where we can get started. Well, at the end of the day, at least I have Yoloberry lol.
I guess this means that I will be in Davis on the weekdays and back in SF on the weekends. I wonder how that will work out lol. I'm so used to visiting my friends on their lunch breaks. Haha, at least this means I can party in the city more. I loooooove San Francisco.
Japan seems like a distant dream. Sometimes I wonder if it actually happened at all.
Scrapbooking is one of my favorite hobbies.
One of my favorite meals is egg, garlic rice, longanisa, and tomato. Hahaha hella fob but I don't care.
I loooove Glee. I haven't been excited about a tv series since Friends. Last week's religious episode was so well done and did a great job balancing both view points. Mr. Shewster is such a tool though. ><
I can't wait for snowboarding season to start. I want to buy new snowboard pants.
