Charlie Part V
Well today Charlie is yet again at the vet hospital for more surgery. The endoscopy didn't quite work as Charlie is a long cat the endoscop couldn't reach his small intestine where they think he has a problem. So following the endoscopy he was kept in on a drip and given a contrast meal to see how fast it went through his system. A small handful of semi-liquid food should be through his stomach and intestines in 3 hours, after 8 hours 2/3 was still in his stomach.
This explains why he wont eat, and why he vomits food back a day after he has eaten it. They think some kind of obstruction or inflamation in the intestine is causing it all, so today he has gone in for more bloods to be taken and to be opened up and investigated. Poor thing has lost so much weight, i just hope they find something so we can get on the road to fixing it after all this time.
