Hi.
This is for Scrotum because he wants me to update.
Um let's see. Wednesday? night we had shivaratri at my house. It's a hindu holiday (because I'm kinda a hindu?). I asked a friend what I should say when people asked me what religion I am, and she said Hindu/Christian, or Self-Realization. So you pick. Anyways, I dressed up in a pretty blue and gold sari my mom brought back from India, complete with a Bhindi. We chanted and did aratis and pujas. Fun times.
Um what else.
I've laid out in the sun for 3 or 4 days running now, because today it was 80 degrees! mmmmmmm. I called my roommates tonight because they accidently said they were coming tomorrow (supposed to be next week), and I wanted to make sure that they were not confused or dangerously wasted.
Tomorrow I go to Santa Cruz for an overnight. Should be fun, but I'm not necessarily looking forward to the hours of driving. Especially because I have no air conditioning, my pick-up truck seat on the drivers side is ripped to shreds (the truck is named Azi), and my stereo won't play cds anymore. I'm visiting my friend Mirabai at UC Santa Cruz. She wants me to see her dance performance tomorrow night. It should be interesting. You never know with Mirabai what you will end up doing, who you will meet, where you will sleep, what you will eat, etc. Hey, it will definitely pass some time so that I'm not sitting on my ass all weekend annoying my parents and sister for the joy of being annoying.
