YAY Wednesday!
First of all, before I get into Wednesday, bri's family may finally increase by 1 today. His Aunt Lisa is in labor... again. Hehe, she went into labor yesturday but her contractions only got as close as 20mins apart then decreased and stopped. Apparently they started up again this morning, still at 30mins apart, but now lasting about 5mins each time. Still could be a couple days yet, especially being her first, but here's hoping! It would be nice if it was today cause then she and the baby would be home for Christmas!
OH! And I'm really pissed that the photographery studio STILL hasn't sent me our photo gift cards yet! Hello! Christmas is only 6 days away! I kind of NEED them!
Now, onto my "YAY Wednesday!" Tomorrow is the day we're going to bri's Dad's to celebrate Christmas. I have to work tonight so I'm only going to get like MAYBE 2.5hrs of sleep, then hopefully sleep for a little bit in the car on the way there. (It takes like an hour to get there.) I was supposed to leave early to take Christian to meet my Mom because he has the dress rehearsal for the Christmas Play at church (being put on during the Xmas Eve service). Well, I talked ot my sister last night to see if maybe she could meet me because she lives closer than my Mom does and wouldn't have to drive as far. She's the children's music director and is running the kids program (or rather the kids part of the program), and said that Christian didn't have to be there! I told her no, that we had it arranged for him to get there, but she said not to worry about it. He doesn't have any lines (we were amazed he even wanted to be IN the play, we didn't push him on having a speaking part!), and he already knows all the songs, so he'd be fine. If need be, she'll have the kids stay after church on Sunday morning, but she doesn't think she'll need to. He'll just have to have his costume adjusted either Sunday after church or before the program Sunday evening.
So YAY! I don't have to leave Doug & Robin's early! And I'm also much happier about not having to drive home with so littl ~if any~ sleep, now bri can drive home.
I can't believe the celebrations are already starting tomorrow. I seriously need to get moving with my present wrapping. It's hard to do it though cause I can't put them under my tree. My dogs will be sniffing all over everything, I'd have fur stuck to the wrapping paper, and I'd have to deal with Christian trying to get into the presents everyday regardless of the fact that none of them would be for him. (Naturally, I leave all of his presents hidden until the very last minute!) I could take the things over to my Mom's that will be opened there, but there's nowhere else I can take stuff. Bri's apartment is overrun with presents, some wrapped & some not, but we can't take those anywhere either. We don't want Cookie or Mikey to get into them either. His Dad's house is too far to just drop off the gifts, especially when we're going there tomorrow. And actually, once we take the gifts there, that'll clear out most of the big gifts. Between Friday afternoon & Saturday, Christian and I will finish painting our snowmen. Then its just up to me wrapping everything & distributing to each place.
For now though, I need to get some sleep. In order to do that, Christian needs his father to get his ass over here and pick him up. He's only 40mins late. *rollzeyez* Usually he's here on time, its dropping him off in the evening that's the "hard" part apparently, as he's always 45mins to an hour late. We'll see what happens tonight. Probably won't be able to post again until after the New Year, so hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
OH! And if anyone has Cassie's address, I NEED IT! She's my secret pal but I don't have an address for her! Sam was going to try and get it for me, but I haven't heard from her again.
