Brian Cox learns the true nature of Halloween
This is just a general update post.
Saw Trick 'r Treat yesterday. It's really quite excellent, I was surprised. Only problem is, my sister-in-law talks when she's scared, so we were somewhat distracted at certain crucial moments. *sigh* Going to see about picking it up tonight so we can watch it again under appropriate circumstances.
They redid their living room and kitchen in a nice laminate flooring. It looks great (especially compared to the older damaged wooden flooring that it replaced). I am more convinced than ever that we need to redo our floors.
I'm so fed up with the catch-as-catch-can of getting players together for a game at CABS (Columbus Area Boardgaming Society). I love playing with different people, I like most of the people I get. On Friday we played BSG+Pegasus and we had a guy who was like, reading rules of other games and walking away from the table between his turns. THIS DOES NOT WORK. I need to get some folks over to the house and get some normal friends gaming going on.
Sarah is feeling blue today, so I think a present is in order. I'm still feeling sick, but definitely a little better every day.
