Jill is getting married this week, and she requested an "Unconventional wedding gowns" blog - and thus, here it is!

Lilly Friedman, survivor of the Bergen Belsen concentration camp, had her post-war gown constructed out of a white parachute. Read the whole story, it's pretty amazing. Here is another dress - although I wonder if it's the same one, as Lilly's made its way through 17+ brides.
