“Just a little more.”

“Full,” Arthur whinged, turning his head away. Merlin kept the spoon by Arthur’s lips. If this came down to a question of wills, Merlin was just as stubborn.

“One more, Arthur.” He bit back the please; begging never worked when Arthur was like this. “Gaius said you needed your strength ( ... )

Teddy/James Jr. - clumsiness - 182 words marguerite_26 March 26 2012, 14:54:31 UTC
James wasn’t clumsy. No one who knew him would ever use ‘clumsy’ to describe the star Keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. They would more likely use words like clever, sly and maybe dangerous. But never clumsy.

So on New Year’s Eve, when James tripped on a mislaid Christmas cracker and landed in Teddy’s lap, he was fooling no one. Luckily, the adults were still at the dinner table, and the kids gathered were tipsy enough to not notice. So Teddy just laughed and teased James about hitting the punch a little too hard and decided to play along. No one was looking. He kept his hands on James hips while the sounds of the party swirled around them. James squirmed, leaning back onto Teddy’s chest. His hair tickled Teddy chin, his weight pressing against him in all the right ways. It was getting past the point of deniability now, but the lights were low and Teddy was a little buzzed himself.

Teddy’s breath grew a little ragged as James shifted just so. Dangerous, yes, but James Potter was never clumsy.

It's the war, maybe. Maybe it's the war, because he can't love him, he can't love him so much - he's only eighteen years old and he should think about his future (but... what future?), about all the men he could love.
He knows he loves Draco too much - and how many people tell him that this is just a crazy and stupid crush - but... Maybe, maybe, it's because of the war.

Arthur heard the steady ka-thunk of an axe splitting firewood. Assuming Gwaine or Leon or one of the other knights was taking care of the task, he sought out the sound to discuss plans for the morrow.

That was when he saw Merlin, and nearly swallowed his tongue.

Merlin is whatever age you want him to be in this.

Merlin woke with a start. His skin was tight and hot, a sudden shock of pain snapping him out of his lazy dream. The sun was low now in the sky, and a long shadow creep across his chest. He blinked up to recognize Mr. Pendragon down at him.

“Shit.” Merlin gasped. Then upon seeing Mr. Pendragon’s disapproving look, he quickly sat up. “Sorry!” Shaking off the mortification of swearing in front of an adult - Arthur’s father, who never failed to make Merlin feel inconsequential, young and unrefined. He looked around to pool area, confused. “I must have fallen asleep ( ... )

To Merlin’s surprise, Mr. Pendragon led him up the back stairs that lead to the master bedroom. He’d never been shown this part of the house, and had only seen Arthur peek up the steps to see if his father’s door was shut before putting the raunchy movie they’d rented into the DVD player ( ... )
