Long update!
It's been awhile since I have last updated so...here I go!
I had a blast hanging out with Margot at Whitman. It was so funny because I was known as Margo without the T. I was in awe the whole time I was there:
1- The food - Sooo much better than EWU. And you pay to enter the building instead of pay for each individual item. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I would get soo fat if I went there...So maybe thats the good thing about EWU's food. You don't want to eat it! (Actually it's not that bad).
2- People were carrying beer bottles in the dorm hallways! Now, either that doesn't happen at EWU or I am so naieve that I don't see it happening here. I remember last year people in the dorms had to be really quiet if they drank in their rooms. We had a huge-ish party at Whitman.
Dragfest was at Whitman last weekend and I dressed up as a guy. I think I made a convincing guy buy I think I make a prettier girl. I realized the past 2 days that I was there that I have to learn how to dance. I think I just bobbed to the music.
I am going to see "Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" tonight with Paul. I am muy excited!!! The movie looks really good!!! I also want to see "crash". I love movies that make me think about life (you know, cause I philosophical like that!!). I just found out that "Leminy Snicketts" came out on Tuesday! That movie is frickin (yes, I said fricken) awesome!!!
I think I just almost failed my math test today. It wasnt that hard but it was a book!! The whole class was struggling to get the test done in the last 5 mins. It was sooo scary! So..we'll see my fate in 6 days!
We have the "date your ca" program this week! I soo dont want to do it but it might turn out ok. I soo hope one of my residents wins! I have threatened and bribed them to save me!! They love me, so we'll see. :)
I went for a 2.5 mile run twice this week. Its hard but I am going to try to do it atleast 2 times a week. It is soo cold outside so there is not much motivation.
Speaking of cold, I managed to jam my window this week. I havent opened my window at all this year, so when I did, I opened it on the wrong side, put my hand through, and realized "hey, there's supposed to be a screen here" and then i looked over and was like "Oh shit!". So, I tried pushing it back and it jammed for about 4 inches. So now that it has been getting colder, my room is down to 57 degrees. The night it was windy was horrible b/c the wind whistled through my open window.
I had the greatest time with Erin and James yesterday. We went and played 9 holes of golf and it took us 2.5 hours (It should have taken 75mins). James is a new golfer so he didn't have the consistancy down and hit some great shots and some not so great shots. He was willing to learn and didn't get frusterated. Erin and I assured him that it is a hard sport but to take your time and you'll eventually get it! It seriously made my day! I hope this is what teaching brings me. After 5 holes we met up with a air force guy so he was fun to talk to and finish our round with.
I got to pull the fire alarm on Wednesday infront of 2 cops. It was soo much fun! I got to do something "ileagle" (sp?), infron of cops!! That rates a 10 on the awesomeness scale!
Nothing else to really report. I am going home next weekend which is highly exciting. I get to see my brother (who I haven't seen in 15months) and go salsa dancing with Robin!! Yay Robin!!!
