NYC Zine Fest is a go.
I have to say: I had a great time at the Zine Fest. A really, really great time. The people I was sitting around were great, lots of good conversation, lots of awesome intellectual exchange, lots of AMAZING work, and good vibes! Not to mention that the PLACE DIDN'T GET TOO HOT. As I'm learning, this is key. As a result, I was able to stay coherent and alive for the entire two days, 7 hrs/day!
Also: I even won a book in the raffle! Yey!
So, thanks, Zine Fest! I hope you happen again next year!
(I should take pics sometime when I go to these places, but I always feel like such a dork snapping pics. I also have a crummy camera that eats up batteries.)
