Prompt: Something that involved one character staying normal, while all else goes bat-shit crazy. (I changed it to Remus staying normal, while Sirius goes bat-shit crazy, which is pretty much the same thing, no?)
Summary: Remus is used to the fact that with his best friends - particularly James and Sirius - it can never get boring. Over the Christmas holidays, however, when Peter and Prongs go home for a couple of days, Remus is looking forward to some quiet time for a change… And he gets exactly what he wishes, until Sirius gets his hands on a bottle of Fire Whiskey. Being dragged around Hogwarts hanging upside-down from a broom and trying to save McGonagall’s hat from the Giant Squid is something Remus didn’t count on when he looked forward to his vacation.
