Why not ?
I was (re-re-re...) watching KAT-TUN's World Tour DVD (because nothing else can raise my spirits when I'm sick), and it reminded me how awesome KAT-TUN's lives are.
I strongly believe that KAT-TUN's songs don't take their full shape until they're performed in a large venue. There are a lot of new songs that I want to see live, like GIRLS, Change Your World, Silence, Remember me, NeverxOver...
But I'm happy they're finally coming back from their crisis, Kame and Tatchan's dramas are really awesome. I was sceptic about Bem, but I fell in love with the drama from the first episode. Runaway is really intense and made me cry during the whole first episode.
As for the new bangumi...well...it's good to see them together every week, but the show is ridiculously low budget and has nothing KAT-TUN like. It would have been much more interesting if they let the boys chose their themes and go by pairs or three-person teams. Cartoon KAT-TUN was waaaaaay more interesting.
Recently I've been listening a lot to Domoto Tsuyoshi's music. I think I'm falling in love with this guy ! I also watched some of his dramas and movies :
- I'll be back: great plot, awesome soundtrack by COBA, and I actually liked Nakama Yukie in it (I used to find her acting irritating in Gokusen)
- Yume no California: moving and deep, makes you cry and laugh in the same time, and his two co-actresses are really talented
- Home Drama: there are no words that can describe how deep and intense this one is. And Tsuyoshi had a Kimutaku vibe in it ! (and his best hairstyle)
- Last Present: my favourite scene was the TV contest one
- Fantastipo: EPIC, a must watch
Talking about KinKi, I'm glad their relationship with KAT-TUN is improving lately. Koichi was the one who created the group, and he used to be very supportive of them from what I saw. It was kind of hilarious to see Johnny's talents mentioning KAT-TUN in SDK just to annoy him :D. But I was really happy when Kouki said he came to visit Dream Boys rehearsals.
People have already started talking about the year's end shows. I hope the boys wouldn't exhaust themselves a lot (Nakai I'm looking at you). This year's countdown would be too awkward with 5nin KAT-TUN, 4nin NEWS, 9nin HSJ. Unless they bring all the missing members and sing Kizuna together (I actually had this fantasy). Maybe they should invite SMAP to lift up the atmosphere ?
Anyway, I'll probably be back in three weeks to fangirl about the BIRTH single. Peace !
