Drama:
Star no Koi: I ignored this drama for years because I'm not into romance dramas. But after watching it an important change happened in my life as a jdrama fan: I decided to stop saying that I don't like romance dramas. I "discovered" that my attitude towards the genre is the same as any other genre: I only have to look for the good ones. Maybe I just didn't stumble on the right romance dramas when I started getting into J-dramas? idk. There are other romance dramas that I liked before of course, like Summer Snow, Platonic, Bara no nai hanaya, Long Vacation, Pride, Utahime, Fuyu no Sakura, etc. But for all these dramas, I could always say that there are side themes or side plots that made them interesting. With Star no Koi there's nothing like that. It was pure romance and I liked it.
Fujiwara Norika has an amazing aura. I understand now why the guys are all over her lol. The younger generation has some very pretty and good actresses but I can't imagine any of them pulling off the "STAR" role so well
Sommelier: This drama is so Goro <3
Saimin: I got 2 surprises watching this movie: the first is how graphic it was, and the second is the sudden transformation halfway from a thriller about crimes using hypnosis to a pure horror movie that didn't give a fuck anymore about crime solving, logics or plot holes. It's even weirder than mohouhan.
Galaxy Kaido: I loved it. The sense of humor is exactly my type. The climax scene was genius. My favourite character was the one played by Oguri Shun. Now I finally get the joke in the bistro oishii reaction.
Mugen no Juunin: from the international trailer and the critiques on western media I finally made sure that the movie was totally true to the manga. That makes me happy as a manga fan but how am I going to watch all that gore in live action?
Variety:
Mininaru Toshokan: The start of the new format wasn't very smooth. The few first episodes in the new time slot had much less quality than the "experimental" live or no cut episodes in the old slot : too many guests in the first episode, the sport challenges were too long and needed too much explaining, the generations ranking thing got much less fun with only 2 cycles of answers. But the latest sp had all of these issues fixed and was really fun again. Also, Busaiku are great.
Momm: It got a new format again, and I love the new format too. I declare defeat.
GoroDeluxe: I've been watching it regularly the last few months. There are still episodes where I'm struggling to get what they're talking about (like the latest one) but it's totally worth it.
FNS27: as a combination of the announcement about this year's edition, someone posting about it on the comm and me being stuck in bed because of period, I ended up marathoning Shingo's FNS27 2007. That was good TV. Shingo was amazing switching between all those characters.
I want to marathon satasma and delisma.
