Taken in by a kind stranger, Cathy studies to become a ballerina, while Chris pursues his dream of becoming a doctor, and Carrie goes to a private school. And while Cathy tries to find a leading man for her life, Chris seems very decided on whom he wants to be with, but Cathy cannot let it happen. And anger and vengeance eats away at her heart, and she will not rest until both her mother and her grandmother answer for what was done to the Dollangangers in the attic.

My rating: 8/10.

♥ Love, it was such an encompassing word, different from sex and ten times more compelling.

♥ “Music has always done something special for me, even when I was small. It takes me over and lifts me up and makes me dance. And when I’m up there’s no way to come down except by feeling love for someone. If you come down and feel your feet on the floor, and there’s no one there to love, then you feel empty and lost. And I don’t like to feel lost or empty.”

♥ “I don’t deserve to be there. I’m not an angel, not a saint… you should know that.”

“Angel, saint, Devil’s spawn, good or evil, you’ve got me pinned to the wall and labeled as yours until the day I die. And if you die first, then it won’t be long before I follow.”

♥ How wonderful to be understood, and never have to explain.

♥ There must be something weird about me, I was thinking as I stood on the balcony overlooking Paul’s magnificent gardens. I wasn’t that beautiful, or that unforgettable, or that indispensable, to any man.

♥ “...And the way you find out how much they care is by looking into the eyes - eyes never learn how to lie.”

♥ I tell you now, before I go on to better place, the simple secret of living happy. All you need do is say good-bye to yesterday’s loves, and hello to the new. Look around and see who needs you most and you won’t go wrong. Forget who needed you yesterday.

♥ It was stupid of me, for a secret kept too long becomes impossible to explain.
