The protagonist is Noa, a so-called Sky Doll: a lifelike android without rights, resembling a young female, who exists only to serve the state's desires,While inside the Doll Factory. In this issue, Noa tries to save another doll who is scheduled for destruction in the Doll Factory, has misadventures working as a cow farmer and, while working at a bordello/bar, gets involved with a doll's secret plan to use voodoo rites to become human. But when Noa meets two so-called "missionaries" who aid in her escape from her tyrannical master, all hell breaks loose for our cyborg siren as she uncovers clues that she may be much more than just a robotic toy.
