I don't know if I told you before, but I live in this city in Mexico, Merida, is a medium city very close to shore. Mexico overseas is classified like a violent, poor country, but you now, the violent part weren’t something I have experienced because my city just wasn't like that, well....
that change in the last week thank you to the people from outside the town.
In least than 1 week, my city the one was safe to walk at 3 am or don’t put the alarm in your car, well that city had around 3 high profile crimes, because being honest any crime is kinda high profile here.
1) 3 guys entered the biggest and most crowded mall in the city with guns, bullet proved vest, grenades and try, not succeeding, to robbed the mall. Shots were ear in all the mall on Saturday night, the day everybody go to that place for coffee, dinner, movie or just to do a little shopping
2) this morning a couple was robbed in their own home, one of the richest colonies in the city. Apparently they have to do something with drug dealers, but the police wasn’t clear. The police, crappy police if I may add, couldn’t catch them
3) A guy with a gun robbed a bank less than 15 minutes from my house, then he took a car from a guy who had his baby inside, and the cherry on the cake, the car was out of gas in the same colony my boyfriend lived, yeah that’s just peachy, didn't I mentioned that I was in his house in the moment everything happened?
4) I haven't read really what happened, but there was a false bomb in down town Merida, in the Government Palace
Maybe for you reading these, everything I'm writing is like nothing, but we are talking about a really peaceful town in the part of the city where there wasn’t really a crime rate, my town is just not used to this shit, OMG everybody is freaking out including me of course.
And almost everything is happening is done by people from other parts of Mexico, were they are used to robbed when you just go out of money, who needs a job, ha?
I'll report to you later, for me at least I want a security alarm on my house
bad day,
violence,
merida
