Confused, hopeful, and almost out of this place.
This will be a short update but since all of my updates tend to be short I guess this is really just a normal update.
-The school's requirements for my major change next semester so now I can take more cool courses and have them count for something(Hooray)
-Today I saw someone having a really violent seizure on the sidewalk. It was scary and the amount of time it took for someone to take action(I was far away and can't run due to an ankle injury) makes me feel less than solid about humanity. I guess I can attribute it to diffusion of responsibility and all that psych jazz.
-I head home on the 14th. I will be home for most if not all of the summer. I will be working long distance for a consulting firm that is based out of MN doing Web 2.0 Applications Design. Yes that sounds dorky but it pays well and is fun for me. I have really flexible hours so I should be able to hang out a lot.
--For those of you who don't know I just realized that I have never posted about my joining a fraternity. Don't freak out too much, it is a professional engineering fraternity. Yes we do social stuff too but it is not really a stereotypically frat. For one thing it is coed. One quarter female this semester. Secondly we do professional development stuff like having professors give talks and touring breweries and power plants. No I haven't changed radically as a person because of it and no I don't feel that I have bought any friends.
