That good old Boston air

This morning as I was walking to chemistry I came to a realization. This particular morning had the damp sandy sidewalks, the slight breeze and the gloomy overcast that I have come to associate with home. This rare alignment of weather in addition to the really weird flute guy playing songs on the mall made my morning quite nice. Well it was nice until I got stuck behind a couple that was smoking on the way down the hill. They were far enough ahead of me that I couldn't pass them without running but close enough that their smoke was blowing right into my face.

In other news I am rereading the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. Or rather I am rereading the first two books and reading the third one for the first time. I really recommend this series. It seems a bit childish and strange at times but the world it is set in is unique and described in beautiful detail.
