Michel King is a Marine painter, born July 2, 1930 in Sotteville-lès-Rouen France.

Michel King was named Navy painter in 1973 . Michel King is the Vice President of the Navy of the Official Painters Association and was President of the Salon du Dessin and Painting Water 1998-2002.  He is currently President of the National Society of Fine Arts

Among the awards and the awards received:

Grand Prize of the city of Asnieres, 1962, the Grand Prize of the young and the National Fine Arts, the Prix du Conseil Général des Yvelines 1967, the Grand Prix de Rouen 1984 Salon.

In Bénézit: Chairman of the Fair Drawing and Watercolor. It also outlines the Navy and Compare salons.

On  March 18, 2004, Michel King was made a Knight of the National Order of Merit.

He participated in the Shows from the Orangerie at Versailles, Rouen, Angers, Toulouse … He is the guest of honor at many salons province and suburban Lyon, Le Havre, Quimper, Rouen, Cannes, Brie Comte Robert, Marseille, Avranches, and abroad.

His works have been acquired by Museums of Modern Art, the city of Paris, the Navy, the Ile de France, Les Baux de Provence and the towns of Villeneuve le Roi, Rouen …

Michel King is also a painter and lithographer, painter and engraver: he produced illustrations for Companies Bibliophile, he designed the window of the chamber of commerce of Dieppe and those of the Church of Saint Mards (76).
