starfishchick gave me S, and i think she did that just so i would write about -her-. we'll see!
1) stephen maturin! he is the good doctor, the maturin of aubrey/maturin, and be he book!maturin, movie!maturin, or fic!maturin he is awesome and stoic (well, he -tries-, poor love) and spyhatty and my personal favorite sailor, even though he isn't one really, as we can see by the fact that he cannot identify starboard and he is forever falling into the sea when trying to board the ship: hms surprise.
2) seattle! it is the best city ever. it has mountains and lakes and coffee and music and films and books and i heart it.
3) swimming rama! spinach and tofu and peanut sauce! it is love. and once a week, it is also lunch.
4) page six & superficial! because i fucking -love- celebrity gossip. i do. i'd say i'm sorry, but i'm not really.
5) sopranos and sex and the city! two of the shows that restored my faith in television. or at least in tv on dvd. leading to the fact that i have hit the 100-item hold limit at the library. oops.
6) stitchybitches & spokanecrafty! because they keep me sane. or insane. and they are collections of some of my favorite peoples. this is not your grandmother's knitting group.
7) sneak previews! because the only thing better than seeing a movie for free is seeing it for free and before everyone else.
8) stella and stanley raymond kowalski! because rayk is teh sex and stella is teh awesome. well, they -are-.
9) serenity! this weekend i rewatched the first disc of "firefly". and i don't know if any of you know this? but that show was really fucking awesome. just thought i'd share.
10) squee! because that's the number one reason why i am in fandom. for the insane love for a character where you go all *heartclench* and *wavy hands* and you cannot help but squee.
oh my goodness! there are so many things left over like sirius black! sideways! simon pegg/shaun of the dead/spaced! my new addiction to sondre lerche! spebsqsa! sandra oh! slings & arrows! -shakespeare-! sarah harmer! sherman alexie! sarah vowell! sarsgaard! sock knitting! sports night! ... oh my goodness. clearly this sort of thing can easily get out of hand. STRONG WORDS! hee. we've reached the point in the entry where i am -definitely- only entertaining myself.
