today is poem in your pocket day in new york. i had been waiting all month for this to come along so i could post "marginalia", which is one of many reasons why this is my new lj name, but then i looked at my lemony snicket calendar and discovered found poetry, of sorts. this is, i swear, the quote on the calendar for today:
