The Chicago Sun-Times recently released a paparazzi photo of America's favorite black democrat walking through the waves in Hawaii, and let me tell you, it is HOTTT. :) Almost "ow-OWWW" hot. If he wasn't 40 something.
All beachside-hottie-like behavior aside, this man could end up being a great candidate. Of course anyone of ethnic decent potentially throwing their hat in the ring to be president is big news and cause for a lot of hype. But I like to think the hype surrounding this hip young upstart has less to do with his ethnicity and more to do with his honesty. Having recently finished The Audacity of Hope (Obama's latest venture into authorhood), I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the upcoming elections or in the man himself. It's definitely an interesting look at politics from the point of view of somebody relatively new to the game; one of my favorite passages has to do with the big-screen TV Obama discovers in the Lincoln bedroom on his second visit to the white house ("Who flips on SportsCenter when they're staying in the Lincoln bedroom?" he wonders), and from reading it you almost get the feeling that he's human, an idealist, someone who takes the stories of his consituents into account when casting his votes on the senate floor, someone who may not be perfect but makes every attempt to listen to common sense over hype.
Oh. Did I mention he's RIPPED??
