She would know Erik, fellow 5th year! XD You know of him already, buuuuttt...

Erik gets along really well with Ravenclaws, or so it has seemed in the past. Although he's not OMGSOTALENTED with music, he IS actually a good singer - and I've not gotten to thread that out as much as I would like, so he might enjoy being around Margie for making up songs and such if she is interested. Yes, he is insane and might frighten her a little, but they could be good acquaintances, methinks.

As far as my other chars go, something could be worked out with Hanna or Merlin, but she'd not know them so well. She takes Herbology, so she'd know Finny... and he LOVEEEEES music, so they could have a nice student-professor bond over that.

Rylie is the other character that would know Margie, my 7th year claw. She's also the quiet, reserved, easygoing type. Ryllie would totally be willing to give her advice whenever asked and to have study sessions or whatnot. XD

Weee backstory!

Alright so I think Margie would actually be open around Erik, especially if he first came up and mentioned music around her. She's quite the talker when it's about something that she loves, especially music. Over the years? Would of become a little less awkward around him and yes would probably look a little scared and aloof sometimes, but secretly LOVE IT when he's all insane. And yes making up songs is something that would be awesome, though he would have to sing. She would die if she had to.

FUCK! i hate when i hit the enter key to soon...sorry about that *headdesk*

Anyways, alright so with the other ones:

Merlin: Might know him through Ben? Because they would most likely be music cooties or what not, and plus she might have seen him bouncing around somewhere and kinda wishes she was more like him. *snorts*

Hanna: She might have run into her if she was stargazing and such. Since she loves to do that whenever humanly possible.

Finny: Oh man she would of had a huge HUGE crush on him as a little firstie, but eventually grown out of it. Blushed a lot back then, you know the works. But if he started talking about music around her, like when she was humming something or what not, she would probably forget any awkwardness and talk a million miles a minute. Definate bondage opportunity.
...
ok not going there. HAHHA

Rylie: She would really like Rylie. If she could give her study sessions in DADA? Margie would love her for it and wouldn't mind just sitting around people watching either. Might see her as older sistery type of

The only one she'd know is Ben, I think.

He'd like her a lot, if they ever met. They're both readers and klutzy and he listens to music all the time. Motown and other dorky sixties bands, mostly, but he kjust listens, cant play anyhting or sing. He hides his feelings too, but instead of being happy like she his, he'd broody and very much the angry teenager. Ben is feircely loyal and dedicated to his friends though, even though there are few.

How do you think she'd take to him?

Perhaps they met in the Library or something? She would be the one in the corner humming some music to herself, especially Elvis. That's her guilty pleasure by far.

Probably would be awkward, like usual, around him for a while once they met. Jumpy and the whole deal, but after a while she would calm down. As long as he got her talking about something she likes and he doesn't mind a few awkward pauses I could imagine her liking him a lot.

WOOT MORE FIFTH YEARS!!!!!

Okay, so Avis would pretty much think she's awesome. I can see Avis taking a liking to her, especially with the keen interest in music and reading and sports. AND Avis has to get out of her usual Gryffindor comfort zone. So maybe something there?

Hargreaves is bleh :P

And Troy?! Might smile and try to get her to open up a bit, of course. He's loud and insane.

Any ideas??

YEP!

Definately! She would adore Avis and secretly wish she was more like her. After reading her app they actually seem kinda similar...except not? They could totally dork out to music and stuff together, and perhaps, with a lot of encouragement and prodding, be willing to go 'wild' at a Quidditch game. *cough cough* So yes definately something there.

Hahahaha yep. Hargreaves would scare her shitless. *blinks*

Oh man she would simply shut the hell up around Troy. Though he likes Astronomy right? And he's on the Quidditch team? So probably has a crush on him, not known, but definately there. So she would blush and stammer and make a horrid fool out of herself in front of him. hahaha

Hahhaahah true. I was thinking they were quite similar, but very different, of course :P But. . .in some ways! At least I can see Avis really liking Margie. (And I just kind of love the name, really. Or retro names in general XD ) Yeah, I can see Avis having her quiet times with her and then "YO LET'S GO LIGHT SOMETHING ON FIRE!" And you KNOW they'd totally dork out over music. Avis loves muggle music (a fondness for punk rock and The Police and recently, motown.) She may even know Avis better through Ben, or at least record-listening sessions are in order!

HAHAHAH Harg. How can he scare anyone?! He's such a little bitch!! :P

And I can see Troy being "Oy girlie, why are you so quiet? Come on, let's go flying and stargazing." He'd try to get her to have fun, thinking her shyness is just boredom. He's blind like that :P

Margie would totally be up for lighting things on fire, that will be her giggly silly crazy time! Not something too dangerous or noticable. Just something fun and mildly distructive XD. OMG YES DORKING IT OUT! Seriously? They need music time because it would be the dorkiest thing ever invented. Which is oh so funny and amazing. And she should like Ben...

Urm the fact that he's male, no matter how pansy/lame he is, basically scares her shitless. And if he ignores her or just is blah towards her? Omg she's thinking he hates her guts, she has something on her shirt, everything is wrong! *hits her over the head*

Oh stargazing she might actually start rambling on about the space for a while. It's good though! She definately will need people who are compelled to get her more open than before. Though Quidditch MIGHT be a problem. She'd probably fall off or something.

Okay, I've got Thatcher, who would likely enjoy her ESPECIALLY if she gets flustered around flirtatious boys. Those are his favourite types.

YES SHE DOES. Actually she stammers a bit, blushes, is insanely awkward, and would probably trip over herself if he paid enough attention to her. And he's a charmer? Omg she's positively dying in my head as we speak hahahhahaha

Hahaha, EXCELLENT. I think Thatcher would enjoy her ten times more than what I originally thought. I could see her tripping over something and him rushing over, hand extended and charming smile on his face, saying "Let me help you up, love."

And then she would promptly get the deer in the heads light look and die. Yay!

...and who said character torture wasn't fun? ;D

Okay, so we've already said she won't know Ellie and I don't think she would know Bryant either, but she and daridavison are in the same house, so I think it's possible they would know each other. What do you think?

Reply

margietheshy January 1 2007, 23:10:56 UTC
Yah probably. She's much more open around girls than she is guys so most likely she would at least know her. Though she's a bit too social and flirtyish, but might wish she was more like the girl. And Quidditch, she likes that sport.

Awesome :) Daris going to be a lot less flirty and social this week, though, because she's having a bad week. Poor thing :/
