A new to me laundry tip

If you're having cleanliness issues with your laundry, (as in oily, incredibly dirty, or sickbed linens), you should add pine oil solvent to your wash.

I picked it up from here.

It's not that I don't know how to do my laundry; it's my jeans that have become a problem.

From about a year and a half ago, nothing would get my jeans clean.  No matter who washed them, where we were, what cleaners we put in, when I pulled on a fresh pair of jeans they would be clean feeling for all of 30 min.

Then they would be greasy.  Disgustingly greasy, like I'd dove into a vat of industrial lubricant.

So I haven't been wearing them.  But then I got desperate.  I really needed to make sure that all of our clothing was clean from me constantly catching cold, the boyfriend developing some sort of rash on his arms, and I was just basically tired of nothing coming exactly clean.

So I googled it.  And bought some pine-sol to add to my wash.

It works so very well.  And despite the fact that it makes the house smell like pine, it doesn't linger on clothes.  And everything is so wonderfully clean.  It tackles every single stain, no matter what.

If you are a mechanic, work in a lab, or are getting over a cold, that's the additive you want to use.

research, good news, less than three, thrifty habits, awesome, sickness, pimping, germs
