actually participated in the feast day today
My mom surprised us with Thanksgiving dinner earlier today and that was lovely ♥
When she forgot her phone, I took it to her and passed by Walmart at 8:11 and holy crap, that's the most people I've ever seen at that store location. *boggled*
Of course, it just figures that I get up the nerve to post podfic and my Internet is very intermittent. Oh well, things to do on Monday.
Tonight and last night was a hard freeze, which is not delightful in any way. Worse: the temp is going to be rising again in a couple of days. There is no season that Mississippi has acceptable weather. This rapid flip flopping is just not on! >:/
Mummy currently is the manager of the Santa booth in the mall. Things I have learnt: everything cliché and trope-y we knew about Santa booths is wrong. The workers get paid quite a bit for something that is part time and basically work that is every other day.
Not impressed to hear that loads of people try to bring their own cameras and circumnavigate the workers. I could understand, maybe, the cell phone pics, but mom has had to turn away people bringing their own SLRs, which is uncalled for, really.
My Gramps is seriously thinking about moving into a condo and leaving the house to us, so I might be moving to Florida, y'all. I honestly don't know how I feel about it. At least having a nice place in a nice town will hopefully let us get back on our feet without constantly dealing with family matters (or constantly struggling with trash pickup and cleanliness, like in the country.)
