home cooking is amazing :)
We had carne asada and "cabbage cooked in a pan" tonight. Mixing both food cultures I'm from into one meal is always delicious and nutritious. Tomorrow on Giftmas, we're staying home and I'm fixing rice and beans and casserole tacos. The beans are soaking as I type and first thing in the morning they'll go to the crockpot. :) I realize that it's not quite tamales and mole but I am only one person! D:
Having the space to fix anything at home is such a blessing <3
I still have one last podfic for the year so I can bingo and then I will be recording and editing and betaing for ages before I can publish anything! I need to get all the charity podfics done before I do anything else :) In any case, no end of year meme yet! I've got more recording to do! ^^
It was hot enough to turn the A/C on this morning but the temp is dropping fast. Mississippi, make up your mind! I feel like I yell a lot at the weather here. :/
I might be festive for New Years and make some brownies... will have to think about that.
