If he's looking forward to seeing her because he has romantic feelings for her, then ... ok that's slightly out of character of him. But if he's looking forward to seeing her because he's looking forward to all the sex they're going to have (which I'm guessing is the case), well ... nothing's changed at all and really, can she not tell the difference between sex and love?
