Soo, since last thursday, the
Inversion in the valley has been steadily getting worse. The pictures above were taken on Sunday (i found them on flickr) and it was worse today. When i come down I-80 on my way home from work, there's a point when you get to the end of the canyon and you can look out over the whole city and the mountains on the other side of the valley. Today you couldn't even see a half a mile (or less!) in front of you. It looked like the whole city was on fire, that's how smokey and smoggy it looked. It's disgusting.

Basically it just needs to rain/snow to get rid of it. I think we're supposed to get some precipitation later this week. Thank god.
