I have to design a calender about whatever i want and since i love learning about different cities and looking at pretty pictures i decided to make an educational-ish calender on cities that don't really get as much attention as they should. Basically i'm not doing cities like new york, paris, london, sydney, la, tokyo etc. Everyone has seen pictures of those places.

The 12 cities i picked are:
Shanghai, China
Vancouver, Canada
Vienna, Austria
Zürich, Switzerland
Dubai (Abu Dhabi)
Monte Carlo, Monaco
Cape Town, South Africa
Osaka, Japan
Barcelona, Spain
Stockholm, Sweden
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Helsinki, Finland

And i spent my 3 hours of work time in class today looking for high res pictures of these places. Thank you flickr. These places are unbelievably beautiful too, i might just make a post to share the photos.

Here are rough first drafts of 4 different months that i made last night. Stockholm, Rio De Janeiro, Barcelona,and Helsinki.








I'll probably rework these before the final (and yes, i realized that i misspelled Rio De Janeiro on the larger picture, it was like 2am when i made those. haha) but i think its a good start. When they're finished i think they'll be like 9 x 10? Something like that.
