Rubbing her eyes, Izzie Stevens stumbled out of bed. She set her hand on the bedpost to steady herself as she slowly allowed her eyes to open. As those chocolate-ly brown eyes appeared, a rush of cold filed her body as she realized that she couldn't be with George O'Maly.
It felt like her blood vessels were covered in ice, and she couldn't move. She just stood there; her mouth clenched tightly as she struggled to fight tears. What's the point of going on?
And then, like a flash, the ice broke and she fell backwards into her soft sheets.
